Please read these terms carefully before using our platform to book your stay in Egypt.

1. Introduction

Welcome to HomesOut. By accessing our website and using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. These terms govern your access to and use of the HomesOut platform, including any content, functionality, and services offered on or through the website.

HomesOut serves as a premium marketplace connecting guests seeking high-end vacation rentals in Egypt with property owners. We do not own, sell, resell, furnish, provide, rent, re-rent, manage, and/or control properties. Our role is solely to facilitate the availability of the Site and Services.

2. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Site, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding your password.
  • Identification may be required upon check-in (National ID for Egyptians, Passport for foreign nationals) in accordance with Egyptian law.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if any information provided during the registration process or thereafter proves to be inaccurate, not current, or incomplete.

3. Booking & Payments

Pricing: All prices are displayed in Egyptian Pounds (EGP) unless explicitly stated otherwise. Prices include applicable taxes but may exclude specific service fees which will be displayed before checkout.

Payment: We accept major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard) and verified local payment methods. Full payment is generally required to secure a reservation unless the property offers a split-payment option.

Upon booking confirmation, a binding agreement is formed between you (the Guest) and the Host. HomesOut acts as a limited payment collection agent for the Host.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellation policies are set by the individual Hosts and are clearly displayed on each property listing. Standard policies include:

Flexible

Full refund 24 hours prior to arrival.

Strict

50% refund up to 7 days prior to arrival.

In the event of extenuating circumstances (e.g., severe weather, security issues), HomesOut may override the Host's cancellation policy to issue a refund.

5. Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This section outlines how we collect, use, and share your information.

Data Collection

We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create or modify your account, request on-demand services, contact customer support, or otherwise communicate with us. This information may include: name, email, phone number, postal address, profile picture, and payment method.

Data Usage

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our services, such as to facilitate payments, send receipts, provide products and services you request (and send related information), develop new features, provide customer support to Users and Hosts, develop safety features, authenticate users, and send product updates and administrative messages.

6. Liability & Conduct

Guests are expected to treat properties and neighbors with respect. Any damage caused to the property during the stay is the sole responsibility of the Guest.

HomesOut is not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property that may occur during your stay. We recommend all guests obtain comprehensive travel insurance.
